Yes — a printed wedding album is available as an optional add-on on any package. It’s not included in the base price because not every couple wants one, and I’d rather keep the package price clean. Once your gallery is delivered and you’ve had a chance to see your favourites, I’ll help you select and design something worth keeping on the shelf. Pricing depends on size and page count — get in touch and I’ll send you the options.

Yes — but selectively, and I try to make them feel as natural as possible. For couple portraits, I’ll guide you into good light and give you just enough direction so you feel comfortable — where to stand, how to hold each other, where to look. For family group shots, I’ll move through them efficiently so they don’t eat into your day. The rest of your gallery — probably 80% of it — will be real moments I caught while things were actually happening. The posed shots exist to make sure you have the beautiful, intentional portraits. The candid shots are what make the gallery feel true.

Yes — Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Dandenong Ranges, Macedon Ranges, and regional Victoria are all covered. Travel within greater Melbourne metro is included. For longer distances I’ll let you know upfront if there are any travel costs, and for destination weddings we can work something out.

For autumn and spring weddings — Melbourne’s peak months — I’d suggest locking in at least 9 to 12 months out. March through May and September through November book up fast, and the best dates go to whoever confirms first. If your wedding is coming up sooner, reach out anyway — I sometimes have late availability or cancellations. And if I’m already booked on your date, I’m happy to point you toward someone whose work I respect.

200+ fully edited images for a full 8-hour day. Every image in your gallery has been hand-selected, colour-graded, and finished — I don’t bulk-export or deliver RAW files. What you get are images that are ready to print, share, or frame. You won’t feel like you’re missing moments, but you’re also not getting hundreds of near-identical shots to sort through. For most couples, 200+ images is more than enough to tell the full story of the day.

Yes — a deposit is required to lock in your date, with the balance due before the wedding. I do offer payment plans if that makes things easier — just mention it when you get in touch and we’ll work something out. I accept bank transfer, and everything is covered in a straightforward contract so you know exactly what you’re getting and when.

The Premium package ($3,300) is everything in Standard, plus a dedicated third team member — a professional videographer who captures your full ceremony, speeches, and reception highlights as a proper cinematic wedding film. You also get drone footage where permitted. Three-person team, up to 10 hours of coverage, 200+ edited photos, full cinematic film, drone footage, and video highlights reel — all included. If you want the complete photo and film experience with no add-ons to think about, this is it.

Melbourne weather is Melbourne weather. I always have backup plans for outdoor shoots and know which venues work best when the weather turns. Some of my favourite photos have come from overcast days — the light is soft and often more flattering than harsh midday sun. We’ll make it work regardless.

I carry full backup equipment to every wedding — three cameras, multiple lenses, spare batteries and cards. Equipment failure has never derailed one of my shoots and I intend to keep it that way. In the unlikely event I’m genuinely unable to be there due to a medical emergency, I have a network of trusted Melbourne photographers I’d call immediately to cover. I also carry public liability insurance, which most venues require. All of this is covered in your contract.

I have an editorial eye but a documentary heart. Most of your gallery will be real moments I caught while things were actually happening — the look between you during the vows, your mum’s reaction, the chaos on the dance floor. I’m not going to spend your day arranging everyone into stiff poses. That said, I love creating beautiful couple portraits when the timing is right — something cinematic, especially during golden hour.

I bring a second person to every full-day wedding because there are two things happening simultaneously that both deserve proper attention: your photos, and your video highlights. I focus entirely on photography. My second shooter focuses entirely on capturing the video highlights — ceremony moments, reactions, reception atmosphere — which gets edited into a short cinematic reel that comes included with your package at no extra cost. You leave with both a full edited photo gallery and a video highlights reel, from one booking.
