Wedding Photography Melbourne

Your wedding day deserves to be remembered exactly as it feels—full of love, laughter, and those perfect little moments that make your story unique. As a wedding photographer Melbourne who’s been documenting love stories across Victoria for over a decade, I understand how important it is to find someone who truly gets your vision.
I’ve photographed over 300 weddings in Melbourne and beyond—from intimate ceremonies in historic Fitzroy churches to grand celebrations overlooking Port Phillip Bay. Every couple is different, and every wedding tells a unique story. My job is to capture yours authentically, beautifully, and with the kind of care that these precious memories deserve.
How I Approach Wedding Photography Melbourne
I’m not the photographer who’ll spend an hour arranging every detail or making you hold poses that don’t feel like you. My approach to wedding photography is documentary-style—I want to capture the real emotions, the genuine laughter, and those spontaneous moments that happen when people aren’t thinking about being photographed.
That said, I do love creating beautiful couple portraits when the timing is right. There’s something magical about those few quiet minutes together during your wedding day, especially during Melbourne’s gorgeous golden hour light. Whether we’re in the Royal Botanic Gardens, on Brighton Beach, or in the laneway behind your reception venue, we’ll find those perfect moments.
A relaxed, unobtrusive presence throughout your day
Gentle guidance when needed, space when you don’t need it
Beautiful images that feel like you, not like a magazine
Reliable delivery of your photos within two weeks
Beyond Melbourne Regional Victoria Weddings
Some of my most memorable weddings have been in the gorgeous wine regions around Melbourne. The Yarra Valley offers incredible vineyard backdrops, especially in autumn when the leaves are changing. Venues like Zonzo Estate or TarraWarra Estate provide both stunning views and fantastic wine for your guests.
The Macedon Ranges is another favorite—places like Mount Macedon and the surrounding areas offer that perfect combination of rolling hills and intimate venue spaces. And for couples wanting something really special, I love traveling to the Grampians or even down the Great Ocean Road for destination weddings.
Regional weddings often feel more relaxed, with more time for extended family photos and a real celebration atmosphere. Plus, your guests get to enjoy a mini-getaway, which adds to the whole experience.

What’s Included in Wedding Photography
Pre-Wedding
We’ll start with a proper consultation—either over coffee or via video call—where we can talk about your vision, your timeline, and any specific photos that are important to you. If you’re getting married somewhere I haven’t worked before, I’ll often do a venue visit to scout the best locations and understand the lighting.
Depending on your package, we might also do an engagement session. These are fantastic for couples who aren’t used to being photographed—it gives us a chance to work together in a relaxed setting and helps you feel comfortable with my style.
Wedding Day Coverage
I typically start with the bridal preparations—those getting-ready moments with your closest friends and family. There’s something special about capturing the anticipation and excitement of the morning as everything comes together.
During the ceremony, I work quietly and naturally to capture all the key moments without interrupting the flow. I know which angles work best in different venues, and I always coordinate with your celebrant beforehand to make sure I’m in the right place at the right time.
For your couple portraits, I always recommend setting aside around 30–60 minutes during the day. This is where we can slow things down and create something truly special—images that feel more cinematic and timeless.
If your timeline allows, golden hour is perfect for this. The light is soft, flattering, and adds a beautiful, romantic feel to your photos.
You won’t be left wondering what to do—I’ll guide you gently with simple directions so everything feels natural and relaxed. No stiff posing, just real moments, connection, and a bit of fun while we create some of your favourite photos from the day.
Editing and Delivery
After your wedding, I carefully go through and curate the best moments from your day.
Your couple portraits receive extra attention with subtle colour grading and light skin retouching where needed—always keeping everything natural and true to how it felt. The goal is not to over-edit, but to enhance what’s already beautiful.
Your full gallery is delivered within 2–3 weeks through a private online gallery, making it easy to view, share, and download your images. If you’d like, I can also provide your photos on a USB.
I highly recommend printing your photos. When your images are on your walls or in an album, you’re not just storing memories—you’re living with them every day.
You’ll be able to select your favourite images directly from your gallery, and I can take care of the entire printing process for you—from albums to wall art—delivered straight to your home.
